OVERVIEW
Layout studies in print. A brochure system where the grid is visible on purpose — margins, gutters and folds treated as part of the composition.
CHALLENGE
Print budgets are unforgiving. The publisher needed a flexible brochure format that could hold wildly different content without a redesign every issue.
APPROACH
The fold itself became the grid. Every spread is built from the physical creases of the paper, so structure and content can never drift apart.
RESULT
Four issues later the format is still running unchanged. Production time per issue dropped by half, and the visible grid became the imprint's signature.
